Junior Winter Nets, Summer Membership and Combo Membership

Junior Winter Nets, Summer Membership and Combo Membership

Mike Quinn7 Jan - 19:00

Get ready for cricket.

Winter Nets Membership is open. Starts on 1st / 2nd February.

Summer Membership also includes a free shirt. Starts 25th/26th April.

New Combo Membership also includes a free cap.

We have created a bunch of new membership options for our Junior Members and our Summer Members receive a new shirt when joining before 28th Feb after which the team shirt can still be purchased at the RRP price directly from the club store.

Those opting for the Combo Membership this includes both Winter Nets, a Summer of Cricket and a free cap.

The options to purchase should be in the shopping cart in your Pitchero App and also email requests will go out to purchase.

When registering remember to select the correct age group membership. Note even though Pitchero provides you the opportunity to 'Apply' to play for a team. There is no need to apply for a team as the Team Managers have volunteered to do this. All new comers need to do is apply to be a member of the club.

We have options to split our membership charge into multiple payments.

IMPORTANT - Parents will need to select the *correct* shirt size for your player on the registration form in the Pitchero App. The form will include an accurate sizing guide for ordering (it is in inches). The shirts will be delivered to the club for collection and will be individually bagged with your name and order.

Top tip get a size a little bit bigger than your child is right now. They grow.

What you get.

  • For newbies we have a free come-and-have-a-go taster session on our first session on 25th April
  • 18 ECB-qualified coach-led weekend training sessions (one session per child per week).
  • Friday night intrasquad training friendlies at Shiplake College or Coppid Hall.
  • Henley Cricket Club Junior teams play in league and cup fixtures in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Circa 130 games over the summer.
  • Junior players are often invited to play for senior squads; in 2024, we launched a 4th team playing on Saturdays and have had juniors representing Henley in our other senior squads too, this all means lots more senior cricket opportunities, and there is always the chance to play with Prestcold Seniors on Sundays and a strong U19 squad playing on Monday evenings.
  • Regular BBQ on sunny Friday evenings.
  • Use of the brand new nets at Henley Cricket Club when there is no game or senior training.
  • Also girls can also use the Harpsden Nets, and our boys are more than welcome to use the field net at Coppid Hall Cricket Ground.
  • The Pavilion bar is open to all our members when a senior match is on and Friday evening training for sundowners. Juniors' parents are club members and can invite friends.
  • An optional Cornwall tour organised for August 2025 after previous successful trips for 11s,13s, and 15s.
  • More junior-focused cricket training equipment at the club.

We look forward to seeing you ropeside.

Mike and the Henley Cricket Club Junior Section.
