Henley won the toss at the scenic Odney Cricket ground and invited Cookham to bat first.
The Henley side made early progress through the opening bowling of Aakansh Naik and Taimor-Ali Baig.
Aakansh was the pick of the Henley bowlers with 3-16 off 5 overs. Taimor deserved better but finished with goof figures of 6-0-21-1.
Cookham were struggling at 69-7 however a good partnership from Taylor and Duckworth allowed Cookham to reach as reasonable total.
All Henley bowlers very well and a few shots in the air managed to evade fielders.
Henley started well with Gupta and Taylor and at 52-1 appeared to have set a good foundation thanks to the good striking of George Piercey (26), before Henley lost 4 quick wickets.
It was then down to Josh Ellison to continue the chase and he eventually ran out of partners to finish 21 not out and Henley 40 runs short.
